  • Holiday Hunger | The threat of ‘holiday hunger’ can be very real for families who rely on free school meals during term-time. Pray for families who find this time of year difficult financially, that they might find the practical help they need, and the right emotional and spiritual support.

Saturday 24 July

  • General Council | Pray for the Clerk of the General Assembly, Rev Trevor Gribben as he liaises with government officials north and south of the border regarding the easing of Covid-19 restrictions. Pray especially for Trevor and the leaders of the other churches as they meet with Northern Ireland’s Chief Medical Officer next week.
  • Council for Training in Ministry | Pray for ministers as they take leave and benefit from the quieter church life of the summer. Pray for refreshment and renewed energy and vision from the Lord as they also prepare for the new church year, especially after such disruption to congregational ministry and mission over the past 18 months.
